The Need of Women Entrepreneurs...

People who make use of opportunities are called opportunists, those who do not fear taking risks are fearless and those who dream to make the future are visionaries. An entrepreneur is an amalgamation of all these key elements. Entrepreneur is a chiselled strategy of the “BARTER SYSTEM”. At a closer look entrepreneurship is a word hyped and exaggerated. Our country has had businessmen and industrialists and yet by introducing the word entrepreneur we give it an International makeover. Women walked into the man’s world and proved her mettle; she has survived in the most unexpected place and circumstances. This is enough to say she is fearless and dares to take risks.  The very fact about our mothers is that they are entrepreneurs in a very different way. They work hard for the family, they are predictive, they have the capability to run the house in a limited budget, and still saving for the future. Now we see that they are fearless and visionary. A women would always invest in ...

IT'S NOW OR NEVER..................

Realisation hit me straight into my heart when I saw the contrast in two different situations.....life was always a challenge but then challenge at the cost of life and in the end losing it, is a nightmare. The news channel presenter with a straight face gave the news as follows, “India’s remarkable performance in the CWG has brought forward many prospects of gold medals in the next Olympics, our next story after the break, in line is how 65 children died within 3 months in the state of Madhya Pradesh due to hunger and then India launches its first ever double Decker trains which will be running soon.” The headline in between the two caught my attention and then I realised how subtle it was to place the news in between. All I did was think all night what could I do. Then came up with what is in front of you. All we do is blame the governments and crib over it. Next time we get another government and we complain again. The blame game goes on in India; it is a never ending process. We...

My Latest Wish!

Dreams and hopes is something which keeps us going, it is the dreams which, gives us hope and it is the mutual dependence of each other which keeps the beauty alive. Regardless of what the situation and what the outcome is humans can never stop dreaming and never stop hoping. Same is the case with me, understanding the relation took some time but then it did come, it happened just when I was wondering what to do in life. The confusion in my life had brought in chaos both professionally and personally. Have always dreamt to die for the country, and then the profession that I have chosen is a tricky thing. An engineer by profession, with a wish to serve the nation is one hell of a confusion to go through. Some might say its easy people will come forward and give you advice and all that. But in the end there are factors like family, career and money. The plan is to become an IAS officer and make an impact where ever I get to work. Then at a later stage, i.e. join politics. If things hap...

What gives rise to TERRORISM?

The debate of what gives rise to terrorism is not something about which you and I are not aware of. It is just that we are too busy thinking why there are terror attacks, and what do they want? But the basic question still remains unanswered, that is; why does a normal human being choose an inhuman way to make his point? I would say there is not just one factor or just one reason which causes the rise of a terrorist; it is not like science that we can say that a particular toxin has caused a certain disease in a body. I would like to categorize my question into two parts, one- what are the motivating factors for a person to choose violence as a way? And two- what are the favorable conditions for the rise of terrorism. What are the motivating factors? Social and political injustice: People choose terrorism when they are trying to correct what they perceive to be a social or political or historical wrong—when they have been stripped of their land or rights, or denied these. The belie...
