IT'S NOW OR NEVER..................

Realisation hit me straight into my heart when I saw the contrast in two different situations.....life was always a challenge but then challenge at the cost of life and in the end losing it, is a nightmare.

The news channel presenter with a straight face gave the news as follows, “India’s remarkable performance in the CWG has brought forward many prospects of gold medals in the next Olympics, our next story after the break, in line is how 65 children died within 3 months in the state of Madhya Pradesh due to hunger and then India launches its first ever double Decker trains which will be running soon.”

The headline in between the two caught my attention and then I realised how subtle it was to place the news in between. All I did was think all night what could I do. Then came up with what is in front of you. All we do is blame the governments and crib over it. Next time we get another government and we complain again. The blame game goes on in India; it is a never ending process. We blame the government, the government blames it on the authorities, and the authorities blame it back to the government and so on.  This continues and in the end nothing happens. We’ve had a dozen of living room discussion about our countries future and how much wealth a politician has amassed during his tenure, and how the Indian cricketers have been performing lately, how the inflation has affected the pockets of the middle class, how the terrorists have affected our lives, how corruption has affected the day to day to working of our nation. The topic of discussion is endless, but all we get out of it is some entertainment and a nice chat before the dinner.

But have we ever thought about the main reason behind this??????? NOOOO none of us have!! And if still don’t want to face the truth; I will give it to you straight in your face. It is us! All we do is think of ourselves, we have no sense of utilising facilities; all we know is to over exploit them. Just because we have paid for something we make sure to take the most out of it and in the end we end up destroying it. No matter what it is, we think just because we are not happy due to some actions of the government, it doesn’t mean that we destroy the natural resources like water and oil. The amount of food we waste a day can be used to feed the needy and the hungry.

Every time there is something happens, will look for someone to lead us, why don’t we take up the mantle of leading, why wait?? Anna Hazare had to lead the country to stand against corruption, are we blind to all what is happening around us?? We should have stood long ago, and now that the bill is passed we all are happy but we do not realise that passing of a bill doesn’t ensure a corruption free India, corruption is a grass root level problem and we are to blamed for it, just to get our work done faster we are willing to bribe the officials. When are we going to realise that it has to come from an individual only then there will be change.

It’s the right time for us to change the way we think, it is time to make a difference in our day to day life so that the entire nation can move forward, we do not need strikes, we do not need revolutions, we do not need any foreign agencies to tell us the wrong doings of our country.

LET’S PROMISE TO STAND TO TOGETHER TO MAKE A CHANGE!!
