His next target was to enter the most educated state in the country, Kerala.
The party’s image had spread like wild fire and people wanted the same change in their respective states. He tagged along with his college friend who was into politics in Kerala.

He had contacts and dad asked him to join him, it took him three years to gather people and a year before the next election, he allotted the constituencies to the respective people. The agenda was the same but people different. They worked among the people and for the people. That never went unnoticed; it had to because it was being done from the heart.

The elections took place, and CMP swept the polls. Kerala had never seen a one sided competition for the past 15 years. Dad took me where ever he went he showed me the sufferings of people and how they could be helped, with compassion. He would say, “It has to connect with the heart.”

His parents were annoyed because he had adopted me, but he never gave up. Then later one day they accepted me. And we became a family. One thing which always remained a surprise was that he never got married.

The national elections were two years away and he had targeted that this time. After Kerala he moved to Andhra Pradesh, famous for its caste politics, it was the state he had grown in. The moment he landed in Visakhapatnam, the people connected, he knew Telugu and that lead to instant connection. This time he knew there wasn’t enough time so he started gathering IAS officers, those who had been working for the people and those who would give up their positions. Again likeminded people connected.

The work wasn’t easy as it seemed, so this time he contested from Visakhapatnam. He wanted to establish his image there and his old friends came together and supported him. His school mates had seen his work and they had a good circle among the educated people. All the people participated and canvassed for him in their own way.

The women canvassed in Kitty parties, the men in their offices, the kids in their school, and their drivers among the fellow drivers. The cycle connected and formed a circle, within a year the city was talking about him and writing about him. They named his entry into the city as “The Home-coming of the kid”.

He went places and managed to get more people for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, from Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Assam, Uttar Pradesh and many more. He wanted to make an impact, numbers were less, but then it was the time to impress now. The right time was yet to come. He kept working hand in hand with the other states. He made leaders in other states with a single motto; work with people and for the people. Victory would come; no matter how long it took it was inevitable.

The elections had arrived, and out of the 543 seats in the parliament the CMP could gather 100 seats and this was a moral victory, the party with the maximum seats had 203 seats, and then the other party had 120, the rest were among the smaller regional parties. Both the national parties were looking towards CMP for support, but CMP didn’t give in. Standing against corruption, CMP was firm. The support wasn’t given to either of them. It was tough time for both the large parties, to form the government; the treachery of those two parties was on display when both started wooing their enemies, with important cabinet portfolios.
