The Little Girl
Feeling down and out I went for a walk, Totally irritated and too tired to talk. Reached a point where I had to pick the road ahead, Left was inviting but “right” is what my heart said. The less trodden and creepy it was with no cars, Only source of light were the stars. Just like my life I was in a dark road again, I scolded myself and kicked a stone down the drain. Just as I was about to turn around, A guy from no where called out and my heart began to pound. He walked to me and said, “Isn’t it a beautiful night?” I was irritated and I said “yea you are right.” He smiled and walked away, I walked ahead, frustrated with the happenings of the day.
